Our Cambridge office is based in a modern space close to the train station, offering excellent connectivity and a high-quality working environment. The region continues to see strong investment across education, life sciences, infrastructure, defence, residential and energy, creating a varied and exciting pipeline of work.

This is a role for someone who wants to take the next step in their career — developing leadership skills, building client relationships and positioning themselves for future progression.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Cost Management / Quantity Surveying services across a range of projects

  • Taking ownership of project delivery from early stage through to completion

  • Supporting pre- and post-contract activities including cost planning, procurement and reporting

  • Administering contracts (including NEC and JCT) and managing commercial processes

  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

  • Contributing to the overall performance and growth of the Cambridge team

What you need to do to be effective in this role

You will be a reliable, proactive individual who enjoys delivering high-quality work and taking ownership of your projects. You are developing confidence in client interactions and are keen to play a broader role within the team.

You bring a positive, “can-do” mindset, with the ambition to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

The skills and experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying within a consultancy

  • Strong technical capability across pre- and post-contract delivery

  • Experience working with NEC and JCT contracts

  • Ability to manage projects with increasing independence

  • Exposure to mentoring or supporting junior team members

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

  • MRICS (or working towards)

What’s in it for you?

  • A clear pathway toward Associate Partner level and beyond

  • Opportunity to work on diverse, high-quality projects

  • A supportive and collaborative team environment

  • A modern, well-connected Cambridge office

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • Flexible and hybrid working

  • Ongoing professional development and APC support
